Thank a Teacher

A Message from the Hanover County Council of PTAs:

Do you know an HCPS teacher who deserves a “thank you” for all they do?  Here’s a way to send them one!  Help our PTAs celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week this week (May 2-6) by sending a thank you note to an inspiring teacher.

The council has joined the Virginia Lottery’s “Thank a Teacher” campaign and their pledge to thank as many public school teachers in the Commonwealth as possible – and we need your help to do so!  All teachers who receive one of our thank you notes are able to enter a drawing for a great Virginia vacation, courtesy of the Virginia Tourism Corporation.  Submitting your thank you note is easy and is done electronically – simply visit  https://www.valottery.com/thankateacher_lp.aspx to send a digital thank you note to a deserving teacher via email.

Is there more than one teacher on your list?  Get started today and thank them all!  Thank you for celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week with the PTA and the Virginia Lottery!
