Education Expo Announced

ASHLAND, Va. – Hanover County Public Schools is hosting its third annual Education Expo to help students and their parents learn more about the educational opportunities at the high school level and plan for the future.  While all are welcome, this program will be especially helpful for students currently in grades five through ten.
The Education Expo will be held as follows:
· Thursday, October 19, at 6:00 p.m.
Lee-Davis High School
7052 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA 23111
(A free dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Introductory sessions will be held in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.)
· Wednesday, October 25, at 6:00 p.m.
Patrick Henry High School
12449 W. Patrick Henry Road, Ashland, VA 23005
(A free dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Introductory sessions will be held in the auditorium at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.)
Here, attendees will learn more about some of the most exciting and innovative educational programs and pathways available.  Participants will have the opportunity to visit a variety of informational booths and attend breakout sessions, to include:
· The Specialty Center at Hanover High School (health sciences focus)
· The Advance College Academy
· The Hanover Center for Trades and Technology
· The International Baccalaureate program
· Advanced Placement programs
· Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School
· CodeRVA
