The Criminal Justice class offered at Hanover High School during the 2016-2017 school year will be available to students both as a regular high school class and as a dual enrollment class, where students can pay to have the opportunity to earn college credit for the class through Reynolds Community College. Students who take dual enrollment classes must complete dual enrollment paperwork and an application to Reynolds Community College. They also must meet the testing requirement for dual enrollment classes, and they must pay the first semester tuition by the end of the school year, with second semester tuition due later. We anticipate a cost of about $300.00 per semester for this class. Please notify Ms. Roane in the Counseling Center by this Friday, March 4, 2016, if your student plans to take Criminal Justice as a dual enrollment class next fall so that we can begin the dual enrollment process with these students next week. Dual enrollment for the Criminal Justice class will be an “opt-in” process; if Ms. Roane is not notified of dual enrollment intent, we will assume that students plan to take the course for high school credit only. Thanks!
